- International Preschool Permanent Teacher
-
WOODSTOCK International Pre-school is looking for qualified teachers to teach pre-school learners (2-6 years old). As a teacher in our preschool you would be responsible for a classroom with less than 20 students. Our enrollment is restricted to maintain small class sizes.
You will be responsible for assisting our current teachers throughout the various classes. Experience with the Primary Years Program (PYP) while not a necessity is definitely an advantage. Within our curriculum you will cover Math, Science, PE, Music, Arts and Crafts and Reading/Phonics. In addition to helping evaluate your student’s progress through available educational materials, you will also have the opportunity to think creatively when presenting age appropriate lessons.
As a core member of our teaching team, you will be involved with planning and organizing our end of term performances and other events such as Christmas and Halloween. In some cases, like Sports Day Event, you will be required to work either on a Saturday or a Sunday. You can expect to work in a school that is bright, vibrant and energetic. We highly value an Education degree and extensive experience in Early Childhood Education, however we feel that a genuine love for children, a positive work ethic and a strong drive to make the school a better place for learning are equally important. Big smiles and plenty of genuine warmth are definitely a plus. This position also requires that you enjoy singing and dancing with the children.
You will not be required to work on Japanese National holidays in addition to the 10 days paid vacation that you will receive each year after working for 6 months with us. This position will provide opportunities for friendships, laughter and lifelong memories for the successful candidate. If you have what we are looking for then we would love to meet you. Please feel free to contact us via e-mail at info@woodstock-oita.com or call at 097-535-9292 and look for Daisuke Kawahira. See you then!!!
